Dan Norman is originally from Lincolnton, Georgia.  He is a 1977 graduate of the University of Georgia.  Dan started working in the Boone area in 1973 and moved here in 1977 and was the director of Camp Sky Ranch for 22 years.  Dan joined Martin Real Estate in August of 1999. Since 1982, Dan has been a high school football referee. Dan has gone on several mission trips over the last few year: Malaysia, Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Nicaragua and most recently to Kenya.    Dan is married to Teresa Greene Norman formerly of Morganton, NC.  They have 4 children:  Ashley N. Smith graduated from UNC-CH and and lives with her husband, Jeff, and sons, Jacob and Daniel, in Abingdon, VA, Lydia Norman is a graduate of  UNC-CH and lives and works in Raleigh, Jim Bob is an Appalachian State graduate and is serving as a missionary in Nicaragua, and Ben is a graduate of Greensboro College, recently married to Tiffany on August 8, 2009 and is now living in Lenoir and working for Wachovia in Boone.
